Motorola DROID Bionic battery life is very impressive 1
9:39 AMEveryone wants to jump onboard with 4G LTE, but battery life has been a huge disappointment. Motorola is looking to change that with the DROID Bionic. We have heard rumors that it will have decent battery life, and now we have some proof thanks to a tipster. The above picture shows the battery life at 60%, which is after 15 hours of moderate use running 3G.
In this next picture you will see the level down to 50%. We are told that it was using 4G during this time with moderate use, and it took about 4 hours to get to this point. If you are keeping score we are at 19 hours total.
One more picture after the break
The last photo shows 15% remaining. The Bionic remained on 4G during this time and it took 6 hours to get to this point. Again, if you are keeping score, the total time is 25 hours.
This is quite impressive considering we are talking 4G LTE. We are told it is moderate use so we need to keep that into consideration. Ultimately, we really won’t know anything until we get our hands on one and test it out in the “real world” for ourselves. It definitely has me excited, how about your guys?

With recent news of HTC, Motorola, and Samsung working on some serious high-end phones, where does this leave Sony Ericsson? It looks like they may have a trick up their sleeve with the Nozomi. This phone was originally thought to be a Japanese market exclusive, but will now be available globally as their next flagship.
It is rumored to have a 1.4GHz processor and a 4.3-inch 720p display. It isn’t confirmed whether the processor is single or dual-core, but I can’t imagine it won’t be the latter.
It will be launched in Japan as the SO-o2D, but its international model number is LT26i. There were rumors of the next flagship being the Xperia Duo. It is possible that Nozomi could be a codename for the Duo, or maybe the Nozomi will in fact have a single-core processor and the Duo will be the same device, but instead with a dual-core.
We will let you know more as we hear it.

If you’re anything like me, you change your background wallpaper like you change your underwear, at least once a day, sometimes more. My usual practice for gathering backgrounds is to scour the web and save them as GIF, PNG or JPG files on my SD card in a folder labeled “My Wallpapers”. However, this is kind of time and labor intensive, if you ask me. What’s better than having one central application where you can search for thousands of free wallpapers, all provided by Zedge members themselves? Nothing! In addition, Zedge offers thousands of ring-tones and notifications as well. Love that old Blackberry chime you used to have? No problem, just download it from the Zedge app and you’re done. Miss an old Windows Mobile ding? Zedge most likely has it too. Want a hip new ring-tone to spice up that call? Or how about a funny tone which alerts you that your wife is calling? Zedge has got it all. The user interface is nice, clean and streamlined and downloading content is as simple as clicking a button. Click another button and it’s instantly up as your present wallpaper. Want to share that ring-tone, wallpaper or notifications sound? No problem, Zedge gives you a quick and easy method to shoot your friends and family your favorite content. Ready for the download? Head on over to our apps database for the download. Hit the break for more info and screen shots.
